Sicoob University

Modernize people management practices and develop training and qualification programs with the adoption of the best corporate governance practices. These are the main pillars of Sicoob University, launched in March 2015 to structure and offer educational actions that allow the acquisition of knowledge for different professional profiles aligned with Sicoob's competences.

The educational entity's proposal is to contribute to increasing operational excellence, qualifying service to members and expanding the System. The courses - of short and medium duration and in online and face-to-face formats - are aimed at learning, improving and training Sicoob's staff, impacting the relationship with customers, suppliers, the community and all business fronts.

The education system is based on schools of Leadership and Governance, Cooperatives, Culture and Citizenship, Operational Excellence and Business. The implementation of the university meets the needs of professionals and areas and anticipates the demands that are aligned with the organization's strategies and guidelines.

Since its foundation, Sicoob Universidade has trained more than 100 directors, officers, managers and superintendents. More than 91 thousand online trainings and 10,000 face-to-face training sessions took place. In addition, managers obtained about 200 certifications and more than 3 thousand class hours were computed in the face-to-face courses.

In two years, Sicoob Universidade received investments of approximately R $ 1.3 million. The funds were used to develop the various educational solutions made available to Sicoob's cooperatives, in addition to the programs developed, the certification program, trips to present the Sicoob University and the solutions provided, and to hire suppliers and partners. The university also received financial support from the National Cooperative Learning Service - Sescoop Nacional, through the agreement signed for the Executive Education Program.
